New County Chair Takes Office!

Hamilton County voters elected Andy Ivey in the March primary as the new County Chair of the Hamilton County Republican Party

Andy has already been hard at work testifying on behalf of Hamilton County at the GOP Convention in Houston. His next act will be reaching out to office holders to organize the next county GOP meeting. As County Chair, Andy is committed to connecting our community with office holders and office seekers.

We offer many thanks to Joelle Jocis for her dedicated service as the past Chair. Hamilton County has enjoyed a long line of outstanding county chairs, and we look forward to continuing that tradition under Andy’s leadership.

A 5th-generation Texan, Andy lives on a small homestead in Hamilton County with his wife and their two boys, both recent HISD graduates. He served on the Hamilton ISD School Board, was named 2023 Volunteer of the Year by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of St. John Lutheran Church.
