Update from the Chairman

"One person can make a difference and everyone should try." - John F. Kennedy

I spent the weekend in Austin for a Republican State Executive Committee Meeting. A series of acknowledgments are in order:

-Jack Barcroft, TRCCA President along with VP Dwayne Wright are taking that organization to a NEW level. Great opportunities this weekend to get to know other Board members and talk about how we can improve the Election Code and Candidate-Identification process in the state of Texas. YES and YES!

-JT Edwards, SD 11 Rep... who was ON POINT in a fiery speech... "We are NOT the Party of Bigots..." AMEN, JT.

-Summer Wise Yen authored the resolution for "protecting and preserving religious liberties for all Americans". Resolution passed 63-0:

-Terry Holcomb Sr.- agree with him or not, I have consistently observed Terry to be one of the hardest-working, most-principled individuals I have encountered in my entire life.

-Kathaleen Wall- I am simply overwhelmed at her forward-thinking vision and generosity. The grassroots of Hamilton County Texas thanks you.

Best part of the weekend... there's a dynamic, growing younger crowd... being welcomed by those who've been around for much longer... and ideas are abounding. Excellent to connect with so many successful movers and shakers for the first time/again: Hannah ScottBritton BrooksDavid CoveyTripp BryantJon WilliamsAnthony NguyenSandie Wright KindtDub HarrisonRachel MaloneMarian KnowltonMark Ramsey, Brandon Moore, Carrol Precure, Laverne Kennimer, Jeff Betty, Dale Morton, Conservative Anthony, & Morgan Cisneros Graham.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How to we make a better future for our country? One step at a time.

As goes Texas...
